For me the kit worked great. My daughter’s wiper was scratching her window for an undisclosed amount of time. (She thought it was dirt or something). I couldn’t catch it with my finger nail but you could feel the texture when running over it with a finger. The majority of it was gone in a few minutes but it took another 45 minutes or so to really get it all.Ive included a picture of the before. There was a two different scratches even though you can only see one in the picture.

Works as described.Before and after photo don’t do the product justice. This is not a shortcut to fixing scratched glass though. I spent 3-4 hrs polishing a very deep scratch across the driver’s side caused by bad wipers. The polish worked better than I thought it would

Don’t totally remove the windshield wiper scratch but it was visibly improved to the point where you would have to look at it from certain angles to see any marks

I had struggled removing spots on my windshield. Tried vinegar & lemon juice, rubbing alcohol and even tried acetone to remove the spots. The Glas felt smooth to the tough so I figured it was something possibly etched into the glass. I decided to give this product a whirl; testing a very small, inconspicuous area first. Much to my surprise it did the trick! Highly recommend giving it a try if you are dealing with a similar issue.

Got stuck in a snowstorm with no ice scraper and (bad idea) used a folded Red Bull can to scrape the ice off my brand-new car windows. Ice came off great. The scratches? Not so much. Every window looked like it had been attacked with a sharp knife. I lost sleep thinking I’d ruined the glass.Found Glass Polish DIY 3-Inch, followed the instructions, and I’m blown away. About five minutes per window and every scratch is completely gone. No haze, no distortion — just clear glass again.Total relief. Incredible product. Would buy again in a heartbeat.

Bought a used truck and the windshield was so hazy, it was somewhat difficult to see out of. Tried every at home hack I could find to fix it to no avail. Didn't know if anything would work to clear it up, but low and behold, this stuff worked wonders. I could still probably go over a couple spots again, but overall, I'm satisfied.Using a drill on this wasn't the easiest thing. You have to be at just the right angle, apply just the right pressure, and create just the right amount of speed or the drill wants to bounce around. Spraying the area with a bit of water helps that issue some, but leverage is key. Part of the problem was that I was working on a larger truck window. Perhaps leverage would be easier on a car, since it'd be lower. As it was, I had to climb up on the hood to reach and get a good angle. Might be a problem for someone else??? I just think if you owned a polisher that has a felt pad or will accept this attachment, it might go a little smother, though it won't help with reach problems on tall, big windshields if you're on the smaller side.Worked on outside of widow, but took pics from the inside, b/c my outside pics didn't show the haze well.Took me 2 hours and 3 (2 hour) drill batteries to accomplish this task on an F250 windshield. Well worth the money and time to see clearly.

It didn't get all the swirls out, but at least I can see through my windshield. It doesn't remove discoloration that is within the glass and NO product will do that

It worked very well. I had a windshield wiper fall off and scratched the windshield completely removed. The scratch.

I thought I’d try it out first on some scratches that have been bugging me on the mirror. In about 5 seconds I had a black circle burned into it.Maybe it’s the auto dimming aspect of the side mirror glass, I have no idea. I wanted to replace it anyways but wish I would’ve known to avoid the mirrors.Works well on the windshield just takes time.

I scrapped a half inch of ice off my winshield using an old license plate. From reviews, I'm not the only DA😀 Don't do this! I thought the windshield was ruined. The reviews were mixed but I didn't have many options. 100 percent would buy again. I screwed around for 30 min and got 96 percent scratches removed. If I spent another 30 min, I think that they would all be removed.

Had a bad ice storm and after scraping off my windshield I noticed that the ice scratched the hell out of it. Called a few shops to see what they'd charge to buff out the scratches and none of them would do it because apparently it can damage the glass. I counted 20 scratches total with 6 of them being deep enough for my fingernail to catch. This kit is like magic. Completely took them off. Insurance said I'd need a brand new windshield so this saved me a 1500 deductible (I would have just lived with them tho, but no I don't got to!) Thank you!!!

My windshield was really scratched and I had myDoubts when buying this, but I gave it a try and it makes magic! It works great! I will definitely order this again! You can’t even see the scratches and it was with only one used.

Good value for money, would recommend.

1. If you are a novice don't use an corded electric drill. Glass will heat up quickly and you may crack it. You will then be extremely upset.2. I used a different polish 2.3 micron glass polish which can be bought on Amazon, same size pot as one supplied.3. Windscreen was scratched by the wiper. Snapped off and caused a 30cm light scratch. Took best part of 2.5 hours to 3 hours. Look at my picture to see setup.4. Use water spray to keep screen gently moist (very little sprinkle) on the glass area. Not loads just a tiny sprinkle.5. Use masking tape as pictured to stop residue and have a sense of direction.6. Go side to side very slowly and up and down if applies.7. Keep checking the glass to ensure it's not heating up with the back of your hand.8. Keep yellow clothes and window cleaner to check the area every 5 mins.9. FINALLY be patient Rome was not built in a day. You will be pleased.10. Extra pads can be bought happy days.11. If 2.3 Microns can be supplied for polish then this would be better. It will get full marks regardless.

I purchased this kit after buying a bag of cerium oxide offered from another vendor. I had the felt pads and disks already, and figured all I needed was the media. After practicing on a glass window it became obvious that it wasn't removing the scratches and it was leaving a haze. This kit removed the scratches quickly and brought the glass back to a high gloss on my test piece, so I felt comfortable using it on my new car, which had a fingernail deep wiper scratch right in my line of vision. Here is what I learned... The felt pad doesn't really begin to cut until it has been loaded with compound and run in for a few minutes. Once it is beginning to heat the windshield, it only takes a small squirt of mildly soapy water to activate the compound. I found that 140 deg f surface temperature seemed to promote the quickest polishing, but I didn't exceed 140f . There is very little overspray when you use minimal water to reactivate the pad. During the whole process I charged the pad with 3 pea drops a dozen times or so. You don't need very much compound. Also, I ran the drill at 2,500 rpm and worked in 3" × 6" areas, moving to cooler areas to let the glass cool to 120 deg f before returning to work on those areas. Also the windshield temperature before starting was 90 deg f. It was a hot day so the temperature difference between work areas and the rest of the glass was less. I'm not so sure I would be as aggressive if the windshield was cold. The total job took 2 hrs and I used half of one pad. This is a great product.

I scratched my bolt's windshield while removing ice from it using something metal (why is glass so soft nowadays!)... was ready to pay the dealership like 1K for lease damage until I found this product. Initially skeptical and wasn't sure about the tool needed. anyway decided to give it a try, using dewalt cordless drill, the scratches disappears around just two rounds of polishing... what a miracle! See pic of before, halfway, done.

I was trying to clear ice on my windshield during a storm, and I used a plastic shovel, which I though would have been fine, it was not. So I left some really bad marks. I first tried a couple glass cleaners, nothing. So I turned to here, and I found a review that was the same situation as me, so I seemed this would be the answer, it felt like it took forever to get to me. But the next morning I tried it, and right away it was fantastic, I am so glad I bought this kit, its worth the money for sure. The only note I will add is the instructions say a battery powered drill wont work, it did for me, this is a milwauke m12 non-fuel, on 12 clutch and 2 speed, and worked perfect. Probably needed under a minute in my situation, and it was done.

Premetto che serve una buona manualità e lo strumento giusto: il kit è ottimo per togliere graffi, meno efficace sui segni dei sassi o su solchi profondi.Ho usato una lucidatrice al minimo (circa 3000 giri), si parte con un cucchiaino di prodoto sul platorello e si fa la prima passata.Quando la pasta si asciuga e si inizia a fare fatica, basta inumidire e via così, in orizzontale e poi in verticale.Nei punti più graffiati (segni da tergicristallo) ho dedicato più tempo, per poi comunque lucidare tutto il parabrezza, sarebbe bene contare le passate per un lavoro uniforme.Secondo me non serve premere tanto, l'importante è avere tempo, pazienza e costanza, ci vogliono circa 2-3 ore.Il parabrezza riacquista una trasparenza incredibile, provare per credere!

It is a good value package, it does work on light scratch, but cant work on a deep scratches. I spent 2hrs fixing it with a powerful cordless screw. Overall, the scratches reduced but still can see the scratches inside the driver seat.
