The kit really works but you better be patient and be willing to put in a lot of time in the sanding and particularly in the polishing stages. I had a good few scratches on two twin patio doors and I spent the best part of a day sanding and polishing to restore them.

Successfully used the kit to remove a four-inch scratch from a new old stock windscreen that had been damaged during storage. This is an excellent product that has saved me from having to buy a new windscreen. It had deep scratches caused by me not noticing that the rubber had come out of the wiper blade. It did the job a lot quicker than I had expected. I used my drill on 2500rpm which is a higher speed than the recommended 1500-2000 but had no problems I just kept checking that there was no heat build up.
I would definitely recommend it.

I had a fairly deep and distinct 10 inch-long arched scratch on my windscreen, as a result of the wiper blade becoming partially detached from the wiper arm. This product is great it has polished away the scratch so that it is no longer visible. I've also used the product to buff old cut crystal glasses and a decanter, which also turned out great.
