What type of scratches can this kit remove?

This kit is designed to remove light to deep scratches, acid etching, surface abrasions and stains from all types of glass.

Can it fix deep scratches that catch my fingernail?

Yes, this kit is capable of removing deep scratches, including those that catch your fingernail. It uses a two-stage abrasive system designed to resurface damaged glass. 

Do I need any extra tools?

Just a drill or polisher. The kit includes a backing pad with M14x2 or 5/8"-11 thread and a universal drill attachment that fits all drills. No other tools are required.

Does the kit work on all types of glass?

Absolutely. It’s ideal for glass windows and doors, all automotive glass, boat glass, shower doors, mirrors, aquariums, oven glass, kitchen hobs, and more.

Can I use it with a cordless drill?

Yes, as long as it reaches at least 800–1000 RPM with sufficient torque. Most 18V or 24V drills work well. 12V models are not recommended.

 Is it easy for beginners to use?

Yes. It includes step-by-step instructions with images, and you’ll get access to our support page with pro tips and video tutorials by scanning the included QR code.

Will it restore full visibility after removing the scratches?

Yes, when used correctly, the kit removes the sanding marks caused by the scratch removal process and restores the original smooth and clear finish, improving both visibility and the overall appearance of the glass.

Are the abrasives reusable?

The abrasives are consumables and will gradually wear down with use. They are designed for single-use or limited reuse, depending on the extent of the damage and the area being restored. Replace them when they lose effectiveness.

Is this kit suitable for use on acrylic or plastic surfaces?

No, this kit is specifically designed for glass surfaces. While the abrasives can be used on plastic or acrylic, a different polishing compound is needed to achieve a proper finish. Using the included glass polishing compound on plastic will not deliver the desired polished result.

Amazing product.
Working in bespoke furniture furniture for 30 years, I have come across plenty of scratched mirrors and glass. Having tried many ideas and polishing techniques to remove these sratches we have never had success, every time needing to buy a new (sometimes very expensive replacement pane) .
This kit enabled us to completely remove a deep scratch in fire rated glass, saving lots of time and money. Really amazing result.

Bought this kit to repair a scratch on my car windscreen that must have been caused by an object getting stuck in my windscreen wiper.

The scratch was approx 30 inches long across my line of sight and was very noticable especially when driving into direct sunight.

I could feel the scratch with my finger nail but was hoping that the polishing disk and compound would be enough without the need to use the abrasive disks.

I followed the instructions supplied with the kit and also watched a few of the manufacturer's YouTube videos before attending the repair.

In total it took about 90 minutes of steady polishing to completely remove the scratch so be mindful that it's a process that will take time. If the scratch had been any deeper than I would probably have had to use the abrasive disks.

After completing the repair I still have plenty of the polishing compound and I only used 1of the polishing disks so have plenty left over in case of future damage.

Very happy with my purchase thanks and would recommend to others.
