    • COMMON TYPES OF WINDSCREEN CHIPS & CRACKS

    Star break This type of break has multiple legs extending from the impact point and is characterised by its “X” shape or star-like appearance.
    Bullseye break This type of break is round with no cracks radiating from the central impact point, resulting in a dark circle with an impact point.
    Half moon break Partial bullseye the half moon break consists of a semi-circular partial cone of separated glass around the point of impact.
    Combination break Multiple characteristics, this type of break is a combination of a bullseye and a star break.
